Amsterdam - Here I Come - Part 9 (Volendam 3)

Berjalan-jalan bergambar sebelum check out.

Cantik kan pemandangan waktu ini?

Kedai pun memang masih belum buka lagi... suasana dah semakin cerah...

kedai sebelah hotel..

Time to check-out...

Selepas check-out, kami berjalan keluar menuju ke station bas..

Gambar tak sharp sebab tangan sejuk menggigil kena buka sarung tangan.

Bas no.316 sampai, kami pun naik menuju ke Central Station.
Tiketnya berharga 7.50 euro untuk 3 orang.

Alhamdulillah... dah pun sampai central station..

Taste the history

Cheese has a long and thrilling history to tell. This particular product was accidentally discovered by the nomads 6,000 years ago. It used to be quite different from the cheese we all know and love.

Jom tengok video menarik ni...

Penat dah..  mmm... di luar masih renyai...
Ok lah, lepas ni nak balik ke hotel.. nak rehat...

Jumpa lagi di next entri... :)

Amsterdam - Here I Come - Part 7 (Volendam 1)

"What Women Want".. hmmm... saya suka nama kedai ni :)

Puas jugak main hujan ni... :))

Marken is a village in the Waterland and Zaan Region, North Holland, Netherlands on a peninsula in the IJsselmeer lake. It is known for its characteristic wooden houses and traditional costumes. It used to be an island in the former Zuiderzee, but is now connected to the mainland by a causeway.

This picturesque little village was originally situated on an island. Floods were regular and often disastrous. To protect their belongings and themselves from the water, the inhabitants created artificial dwelling hills on which they build their houses. As fishery became the main economic activity, the population grew rapidly. When the Afsluitdijk was finished in 1932 and the IJsselmeer lake created, access to the sea was blocked and fishery activities almost came to an end. When a dike between Marken and the mainland was built in 1957, Marken ceased to be an island. Nevertheless, the village still has the look and feel of a fishermen's town and an island. For over a century, it has drawn in visitors who wanted to have a glance at its traditional costumes and picturesque houses.
