Percutian ke London & Amsterdam

Assalamualaikum buat pembaca budiman...

Trip : KL-London-Canterbury-London-Amsterdam-London-KL

Kali ini saya nak share kan kisah pengalaman semasa percutianku bersama cousinku di London dan juga di Amsterdam. Dari KL, kami berempat (cousinku...kak Bad, jangan mare ye..,Madam K serta anak perempuannya)

Tanggal 18 September 2013, jam 9.30 pagi, dengan Bismillah aku memasuki ke perut pesawat airbus A380 untuk berlepas ke London... dup dap dup dap perasaan 

ini...   dan alhamdulillah, telah mendarat dengan selamatnya di lapangan terbang Heathrow...

Dari airport kami mengambil teksi menghala ke Canterbury, dimana anak lelaki Madam K berada (student di sana). Fuhhh... it costs 144 pounds for the cab! Telan air liur je lah..

Begitu letih sebab duduk dalam direct flight selama 13 jam ditambah dengan sejam lebih lagi dalam teksi, terasa badan ini begitu hancur, lembik tak bermaya sekali.. hik..hik..   tak buang masa dah, kami pun terus bungggg...! 

CANTERBURY.... 

Keesokan harinya selepas sarapan, kami pun memulakan operasi untuk meng'explore' bandar Canterbury...

So, the next day we (me & my cousin only) took a coach back to London (15.90 pounds), berhenti di Victoria station. Station ni tersangatlah besarnya..boleh sesat tu...

      Tergamam aku dibuatnya... tiba2 aje dia peluk... menggigil badan rasanya... nasib baik dah tua! kuatnya menceceh orang tua ni...dia pulak yang excited sangat bercerita... non-stop bercakap.. layan je lah..

We stayed at Peckham Lodge, 89 pounds per night for twin room, booked at booking.com   errmmm.. not bad..

merayap2 lah pulak ke pekan kecil Peckham... 

aahhh.. ada kedai 1 pound.. Poundland.. suka..suka.. sebab semua chocolate & cookies harga 1 pound... wah..rasa nak hangkut sumer tu.. tapi apa kan daya.. beg tak muat nanti... hihihiii..

Keesokan hari, after breakfast, kami menaiki bas no. 12 untuk ke destinasi pertama kami... Madame Tussauds

huhhh...beratur hampir 3 jam untuk dapatkan tiket, naik lenguh dah kaki dibuatnya... 

 

 

  fikir-  fikir... beli teruslah pakej untuk 4 tempat... Madame Tussauds, London Eye, London Dungeon & London Aquarium for 70.80 pounds... supaya tak payah nak beratur lagi nanti.. dan juga tiket tu valid for 1 month... Sebenarnya lagi murah kalau booking online tapi mesti book sekurang-kurangnya 1 hari sebelum pergi...

Apa lagi... bergambar sakanlah daku bersama celebrity.. mula2 masuk dah tersengih nampak patung Shah Rukh Khan...

Selepas perut diisi, kami terus menaiki river cruise (12.50 pounds) pulak..boleh duduk rehat sambil menikmati pemandangan...

lagu ketika ku kecil...masih terbayang arwah ayahanda ku menyanyikan lagu ini padaku...

begitu sayu dan sebak rasanya apabila melihat signboard London Bridge ini...

Singgah pulak sebelah London Eye ni...

Keluar aje dari tempat river cruise, kami singgah pula di satu kedai jual barang souvenir, sambil membeli sempat pulak berkenalan dengan tuan punya kedai, orang albania... Hidayat namanya...  sayangnya lupa nak snap gambor dia.. 

Keesokannya, kami check out setelah breakfast, cadangan untuk pegi ke Amsterdam pulak... 

 ehhh... dekat reception, dapat plak kawan baru...heheheee...satu grup dari Nigeria, nak attend wedding... tulah pakaiannya... perghh...     

Setelah tu, kami menyimpan beg pakaian besar kami di situ dan ke luar untuk mengambil bas ke station Victoria...

Berpeluh jugaklah enquire tentang transport nak ke Amsterdam...  one thing about dia orang ni, eksyen nak mampus! Susah nak tolong kita betul2 bagi tau information dengan lengkap, dia cakap lebih kurang aje...! Bila kita tak paham, tanya lagi sekali, dah macam marah... 
eiiii... memang geram betul... foreigner yang bekerja di sana pun dah berlagak macam the local people! 

at last dapat coach ke Amsterdam (81.50 pounds) yang hanya akan berlepas pukul 7 petang.. mak aiii... lambatlah pulak.. 

Tibalah masa untuk berangkat dah ke Amsterdam dah...

nak tau...perjalanannya mengambil masa 10 jam lebih.. aduussss! sabor jelah.. nak adventure sangat kan... ambik ko!

Tiba di Dover, kena turun.. chop imigresen...

lepas tu kena naik feri untuk cross over...

 

 

naik feri terbaru & terbesar sekali... Pride of Britain !

sudah tu, kami kembali lagi ke dalam bas untuk meneruskan perjalanan kami ke Amsterdam... tidur lah kami dalam bas dengan berbagai-bagai pos..hehehee...

AMSTERDAM...

Amsterdam... here I come...!

Ini ialah station coach di Amsterdam...

Akhirnya coach yang kami naiki pun sampai ke station Amstel Amsterdam. 
Syukur Alhamdulillah... Kami berdua tak boleh tahan lagi nak ke toilet.. berkejar masuk dalam station... Yang jadi masalahnya pulak ialah...  
Guess what? 
Kami berdua TERRRRR..lupa nak tukar duit Euro. Mak datooookkkk... uwaaaa..! Nak masuk toilet kena bayar 0.50 euro! Camana tu? Puas kami ke sana ke sini nak mencari duit tukar, namun hampa belaka... Ada kedai money exchange tu bukak pukul 11 pagi.. tersangatlah bagusnya!

Terpaksalah aku tebalkan muka, menanya one old europe couple yang naik sama coach kami. Alhamdulillah...dia sanggup tukarkan 10 Euro.. cukuplah untuk kami masuk toilet dan beli coffee.. eiiii.. tersengih lebar kami, terus 
berlari ke toilet... opppssss!!! heheheeee... aaahhh..legaaaa... barulah dapat menikmati coffee dan relax sikit...

Nak ke mana ye pagi-pagi buta ni? Jawabnya lepaklah dulu kat station tu.. Pukul 9 pagi, kami dapatkan taxi (14 pound, bayar dengan credit card dalam teksiiiiii... ) untuk ke hotel Eden yang telah kami book dari London dengan harapan dapat check-in awal.. 

Jangan haraplah... kul 12pm baru boleh masuk bilik. Nasib baik bilik cantik..  Hotel pulak berhadapan dengan tempat river cruise, penuh dengan kapal-kapal... memang cantik...

Wah...pemandangan yang indah sekali...

Amsterdam.... kota yang penuh dengan basikal... 

Many of the 15 million Dutch own a bicycle. In a small, flat country without any far distances, the bicycle is the ideal form of transport. The visitor will notice the most bicycles are old and rusty. There is a thriving industry in stolen 

bicycles and an old bicycle is less likely to get stolen.

 

Sambil berjalan-jalan tu seperti biasa kan, laparlah pulak... skali masuk restoran arab daaaa...

Inilah yang kami order...

    Laparrrrr.... Brunch..ermmm... best! sedaaappp... Alhamdulillah...

Selepas isi perut, kami kembali semula ke lobby hotel, tak sabar untuk check-in...tapi, bilik belum siap lagi.. huhuuu... frust...dengan muka mengantuk dan letihnya....

Hotel Eden (97.91 euro for 1 night!)

Jam 12pm, baru dapat bilik... 

dah lembik dah badan rasanya..

nasib baik bilik cantikkk  :))

emmm... kalau di KL ni, aku dah boleh duduk hotel 5 star dah... lebih kurang RM421 semalam!


Setelah membersihkan diri, kami pun berjalan-jalan di sekitar hotel serta naik river cruise...menyegarkan serta romantik sekali...

Tu diaaaa.... ni stok dalam bilik... 

Lepas membersihkan diri, kami pun keluar terus menaiki river cruise..  Memang indah sungguh pemandangannya...

Amsterdam... 

Its name is as simple as obvious; here the dam in the river Amstel was built.

Amsterdam got its nickname 'Venice of the north' because of 90 canals and more than 1000 bridges in the city! Most canals were dug in the 17th century to create waterways to transport goods, also functioned as defence and sewer.

         

The Houseboats...

After World War 2, there was a shortage of houses, that's why people started living on houseboats. Nowadays there are around 2500 houseboats. These should not be moved to another place, because the permit only allows permanent berth. The older boats are made of steel or wood and have to be taken to the docks every 2 years to be inspected. As the council is not issuing anymore permits, permanent berths are worth a lot of money. To answer the 

question of many people: "Yes, the toilets flush into the canals".

Setelah habis semua agenda lawatan dipenuhi, kami pun dihantar pulang ke hotel. Memang rugi besar kalau tak pergi country side tour ini...Best sangat ! :)

Sebelum masuk bilik, kami pergi dinner dulu.. dah lapar..

Keesokannya, kami berangkat semula ke kota London dengan menaiki bas. Kami menaiki trishaw yang dikayuh oleh anak muda ni..

LONDON again...

Tak sempat masuk pun ke Buckingham Palace sebab orang beratur nak beli tiket panjang sangat...

Portobello..

Harrods...

Selepas last minit shopping di Harrods dan Portobello, kami rush balik ke hotel ambil luggage dan terus ke airport untuk fly balik KL.

Hasil tuaian yang dibawa balik dari kedai Poundland

Chocolate yang dibeli di Poundland... semua 1 pound each!

Brunch bar tu 1 kotak 1 pound... ada 5 or 6 bars!

Dark chocolate tu pulak... 2 bars for 1 pound!

Mmmmm... ke mana pulak destinasi percutian yang seterusnya tahun depan? Mungkinkah Berlin? Hahahahahaaaa.a.. aku tiada jawapannya kini...
